Through Corporate Wellness programs, Julia leads fun and interactive workshops, where she cuts through the hype in media-driven food trends. Employees take away healthy eating ideas that are easy and delicious to implement. Julia also teaches how to eliminate junk foods that unknowingly can sabotage their efforts. She also provides employees with simple but effective exercise ideas for the workplace.

Julia also partners with company management to make healthful eating and movement part of the corporate culture. Employers benefit from having healthier, more energetic employees. With a successful corporate wellness program, employees take fewer sick days, are more productive (with less time spent waiting for the caffeine to kick in), and show greater morale and energy. It's easier to recruit and retain employees who know that the company promotes their wellness.

  • Two lunchtime presentations cover key factors for eating to boost health, energy, moods and the metabolism.
  • After each presentation Julia meets privately with individuals to discuss questions, goals, perceived obstacles, and to create a customized plan for success. Up to six people meet with Julia after each presentation.

Exercise at Work brown bag

  • This lunchtime presentation covers a wide range of exercises people can easily do at their desks or outside during breaks.
  • Weather permitting, one session will be partly outside, showing people how best to boost energy, stamina, weight loss and serotonin without breaking a sweat.

Achievement Plan

Julia will meet 1:1 with each person to provide ongoing support for:

  • Achieving, modifying and updating nutrition and fitness goals
  • Troubleshooting unforeseen obstacles and challenges with practical solutions
  • Fitting more exercise into the day
  • Accountability, accountability, accountability

Management Consultation

Julia consults with company management to make wellness part of the corporate culture. She shows managers easy ways to implement healthier food choices at work, without breaking the budget. Whether it's the vending machine, lunch room, staff meetings or parties, a top-down approach to healthful food options can make corporate wellness goals attainable. She also offers ways to incorporate fitness into the workplace, which can actually improve productivity and team-building.

Julia offers this consulting program independently or in conjunction with the brown bag employee presentations.
